" I haven't reached the point where I think I'm good at this. that's the drive. i know that its in me to be really good at it. and i think i've come close a few times, but i don't usually look at things i've completed and feel content. Which that means the next thing you start, you go in with that attitude that 'this time, I'm gonna get it right.' it doesnt mean you hate everything you do, but i'm never content. And maybe i never will be but i secretly know that that's what makes you grow." - Jamie Hewlett
True t'ings. Never be content. Bruce Lee, for example, never aimed for goals; he aimed for plateaus. As soon as one was reached, start climbing to the next one.
Exactly how I feel right now...Putting up my own barriers to the point where I'm sabotaging myself into not making anything. I'm not sure if it's just a rut or if I'm being lazy or just not inspired, but I can say that watching this clip helped me get my mind right.
Gotta say, he hit the nail on the head. My professor always told me the last work you do, shouldn't be considered your best work. Never become satisfied, always push forward.
