Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I have never been so "Not sure how to feel" about any show to the extent that I am about this. It looks like it will have its ups and downs. Certain story arcs will rock where others are low-budget and weak. The designs are cool, though. Kind of like the original, but with some obvious anthro/anime influences thrown in. I couldn't really relate to the original Lion-O. This one seems less duke nukem and more legend of zelda. The original was perhaps too over-the-top. I am a big fan of over-the-top, so this is a special situation. It always bothered me that cheetara's only cheetah-like attribute was her spots. At least a cartoon/anime/whatever on tv will actually have ANIMATION in it now! Not counting Avatar, which rules even if just for the fact that it doesn't depend on tweens. I really really hate paper-doll tween animation. Might as well be a static image.

Legend of Korra sounds intriguing. Always like Avatar from day one, so I trust it will be good. I'm guessing this is no secret, but the bending will still be tai-chi and shaolin right?

I was a fan of the series, but not like many of my friends. I was looking for a little more action than what they gave. But, with the way animation is going today, I can't wait to see the fight scenes. One thing though, since tigers are the biggest of the big cats, I think Tygra should switch size with Panthro.

haters gonna hate so here goes i dont like the panthro cheetara character design
and judging by the way lion o cheetara look i am prediting a a romance story arc

between the two characters which was not in the old tv show
i dont have much hope for this show guess ill just have to what and see

but the original show will always be my favorite

Does anyone knows if they cut Willy Kit and Willy Kat from this new series? I know that they did it with Snarf, whats is good. But they shouldnt take of the kids!
Anyway. Im really looking foward to see this cartoon. I love thundercats and studio 4C. So it can be a good combination.
