Eating: WACK ARTISTS ALIVE, SHITTIN' OUT WACOM PENS...
Drinking: WATER (gotta wash 'em down!)
Radio Interview this past Thursday, feb 24th with TBS / KOREAS STEVE HATHERLY SHOW, discussing my career, Life here in Korea as a foreigner working in animation and discussing an American perspective on Outsourcing and my experience thus far.
I loved the interview. It was very informative and pleasant to hear~ Unfortunately, this is a bit discouraging as a 2D animation student here in the US. Since most of the industry's actual work is outsourced for high quality at a lower rate, it sounds impossible to really go anywhere with only entry-level experience here or abroad.
It is pretty unfortunate. but it's not the end. As part of the new generation of artists, you have to change with the industry. Like the many have before you and i were born, which include adjusting to how the shows are made, it just depends on how much you love what you do and want to do it.
damn i want to become an animator, but looks like in russia it's nearly impossible : )
looking forward
And... something to do with airbending, huh?
