Here's the TRADE PAPERBACK cover layout from DREAMWAVE. they only released 1
TPB, compiling issues1-4. This was the FIRST piece i did before 4kids entertainment told me they wanted it to be more 'angular" like the cartoon. this was scrapped and i had to redo it, which is now the first cover wraparound for the series that i did which is listed in my gallery. i originally did a full wraparound, as you can see other stuff is happening but appears to be cropped. i'll show the full wraparound when i find it. it was too big for the trade, so they just decided to grab the turtles.
i wasnt crazy about this one either mainly cause of composition tweaks, but honestly this was how i wanted to approach them... more organic. once 4kids saw how manic is was, they wanted to tone it down and make it more "animated. "
