here's just a snippet of some of the storyboards from season 1 of the award-winning series " The Boondocks" animated series currently airing on Adult Swim (and on dvd now! go get one!)

This was the 13th episode entitled "The Wingman" which featured off-beat funnyman Mike Epps as Moe "Mo Gunz" Jackson. When granddad's oldest friend "Mo-Gunz" dies, the Freemans have to go back home to chicago where both Granddad and Huey have to learn to put the past behind them... classic stuff.

featured above is granddad's would-be wife to be, MAYBELINE, who see's granddad at the wake where she's not quite how he remembered her lol.

i heard this was one of the fan favorites of the series....

hope ya like, cause if i remember correctly, i was crackin up as i sketched this scene out for aaron, lol. no camera notes or dialogue numbers/ camera notes here....

Love this show! I've never seen anything so bold on T.V. Before. I'm so glad it aired for a while here... but ,of course, it's gone now.

The expressions are priceless. :) Do you use a mirror for them, or have friends pose, or do you just draw them from imagination?
By the way, what does S/A mean? "Same action"? What about H/U?
