Here's some more of my boredom sketches. Rough board done working late night at CN after finishing an act on BEN10:Alien Force (this spring y'all!). random idea. just felt like drawing Seung Kim's and Brad Rozman's Return of the Monkey King doing somethng.

no idea what the monster is. more or less a remnant of the tentacled beast i did in the MK illos i did back when.

these are fairly small drawings. About the length of my thumb.

steady on the grind y'all!

*NOTE* Boards read DOWN. not ACROSS!!!*

when you lay these out, do you trace the previous one for consistency or just eye ball it? Either way, you know i worship your story board man...well pretty much all your work i worship. Thanks for the inspirations and lessons and stuff man.

Great pacing, from studying these SBDs, you make it look fairly simple!!

got a gig as an assistant designer at a children's accessories company around 19 years old. got exposed to animation work meeting various people who freelanced in the medium on the side at the job.

landed my first animation gig online around 22yrs old. Everything i learned was on the job by vets and pros. rest is history. I'm still learning. I got a ways to go.
